GET YOUR TIX NOW AND ROCK 'THE HOUSE'

It’s time for clocks everywhere to stand still;  For thoughts and heartbeats to focus into one.  For your SAN DIEGO ENFORCERS, the Los Angeles CENTURIONS couldn’t have come at a better time.  Like the Charger/Raider rivalry, this one boarders on lop-sided.  Truth be told, despite LAPD’s claim to a fortuitous ENFORCER victory, the game last year was dominated by YOUR RED and BLACK.  Visiting ‘The JAIL HOUSE’ has not been kind to the CENTURIONS, who also struggled mightily against the 2007 squad, only to save face in the closing minutes of that years contest.  It’s like the JAIL HOUSE has this form of home cooking that doesn’t agree with the CENTURION stomach.  That being said, and the rivalry established, ENFORCERS need be weary of the team up north.

#59 DE/TE turned #33 Lovable Offensive Lineman; JOHN "LOOSE" CANNON prove either as a POSSE or an ENFORCER; RIVALRY WITH LA CENTURIONS RUN DEEP

One says the words, LAPD, and a feeling of anxiousness creeps inside the souls of their opponents.  Every player who has straped it up against the RED, WHITE and BLUE has a story that pops into their mind first.  A memory, either good, bad or probably ugly…you remember LAPD.  So it’s the story that takes on another chapter, safe to say the ENFORCERS should be the favorites going in, but this is no ordinary rivalry – you can throw the records out the window.  What you’re going to have in this game is two squads beating each other up as if the game was their Super Bowl.  More important than making or breaking a season; THIS GAME MEANS EVERYTHING TO THE RED AND BLACK!

The termoil within the ENFORCER organization is one of an easy fix.  It will not bring back the possibility of a 2010 Championship, but once corrected it will re-emphasise the place of order the ENFORCERS should find themselves within the league.  Once feared throughout the league as a great unknown, much has been reveiled to the league during this season.

#13 JASON "HOLLYWOOD" BURK and his DARKSIDE DEFENSE

First and foremost, the ENFORCERS’ DARKSIDE DEFENSE was already considered good, even great, but now the unit is demanding the league talk of them as one of the greatest, not through words, or the text inwhich you’re reading, but by the sheer DOMINATION of all offenses faced thus far.   Even with last weeks loss, where the 2008 NPSFL Champions; the FDNY BRAVEST beat the ENFORCERS 20 – 11, there was only one OFFENSIVE play the BRAVEST could consider successful; a 78 yard touchdown strike from New York’s #15 JOE MONFERRATO to #89 BRYAN VOMERO.

Second, there is something rotten about the ENFORCER OFFENSE.  Not hitting his targets, Throwing picks, and looking like the glory is left in the years past; #14 JJ “WHITE LIGHTNING” CARRELL has not put the fear of GOD’S GOLDEN ARM, in the opposing defensive as in years past.  This season, you can see at the beginning of our games the opposing defenses eyes cringe when they come into the field of battle; trying to create a synergy of hope for their helpless unit.  Then, as a ball is dropped, pass pattern errored, and communication between coach and quarterback confused; the opposing defense starts getting a little something they thought would elude them before the contest began…HOPE.  Even the opposing offenses have been getting giddy in their new found opportunity of victory…well, until they have to go back onto the field and see #56 AARON “THE BEAST” HOXIE lickin’ his chops at the thought of devoring whatever runningback that thinks he’ll get past the line of scrimmage.

Third, the league is finding out that the ENFORCERS are ripe for the picking. If ever there was an opportunty to defeat the RED and BLACK, it would be now.  AND NOW IN A HURRY before the ENFORCER offense finds their way.  One knows that when JJ starts finding his targets, and more importantly, his targets start finding him, this ENFORCER OFFENSE WILL EXPLODE causing a cornicopia of scoring numbers displayed.

Usually when #6 JERRY "THE GAMBLER" WEARY takes a chance the house wins, this particular time; advantage BOBBY(#4 BOOBY MEZA)

The rare 7-pack cans of Whoop Ass...(left to right; #5 LOCKHART, #43 VIGILANT, #90 BANBRICK, #93 ASHCROFT, #33 ORTIZ, #56 PEKO and #96 WILSON)

LAPD is not without their problems as well.  This once proud, deadly and LOADED WITH TALENT CENTURION team, at a time made shadows hide, and the darkness crave comfort.  Age, and the leveling of talent throughout the other Western Conference NPSFL teams have put this juggernaught behind a cage.  While still beating up the weaker teams in the league, LAPD has found a fair fight among their rivals LA HEAT, and the PHEONIX THUNDER; teams they have annually dominated.  It’ll be hard to feel sorry for the Cops from the City of Angels though.  Notoriously dangerous linebackers, #43 VIGILANT SHERWIN, #33 LEONARDO ORTIZ and #9 JOSH SKEBER roam the CENTURION back side like hungry lions.  The three man defensiveline led by #56 DONNY PEKO and #5 ROBERT LOCKHART make an inpenatrable wall, as if maned by many.

While the CENTURION defense is kickin’ ass and taking names, #80 DAVID ROMINES is treating defenses as if they were swiss cheese.  ROMINES gets loose every game and his talents usually bring back six points.  Getting the ball to #80 is LAPD’S field general #10 DAN FERNANDEZ.  DAN can hit targets anywhere on the field and has terrific range.  Look for passing connections to #4 BOBBY MEZA and dump off passes to several talented running backs.  It must be easy for this talented quarterback to decide who he’s throwing to when you have the amount of time his offense line gives him.   Big strong and nasty, the CENTURION onfensiveline is one of the leagues best.

Last time, with #14 JJ CARRELL at the helm, ENFORCERS gained the advantage 38 - 17 on what LAPD would end up calling 'Lucky'

Stopping #27 WATERMAN is easier said than done. #35 "PINEAPPLE" sees to that personally.

This well balanced NPSFL team has given nightmares to many, but lead by HEAD COACH DARRYL HOMES, this group will look to come out with a huge chip on their shoulder.  Last taking this field, Defensive Back Coach DONALD PAYNE and his secondary got torched by a VERY DANGEROUS JJ CARRELL and his onslaught of weaponry to include #27 JAHIR “WALK ON” WATERMAN.  Look for schemes to change and minds to grind when the BEST COACHING STAFF IN THE LEAGUE match wits with COACH HOLMES and the CENTURION COACHING STAFF.

Needless to say, the PRESIDENTS of the two teams DO NOT like each other.  Perhaps feelings will change for the new ENFORCER regime, but for now please believe that the BIGGEST GOAL in the minds of these two and their teams is to BEAT the other.  JASON “EL PRESIDENTE” SULLIVAN wishes he could take the field and get one last chunk of CENTURION meat before riding off to the sun set, instead he’ll have to pin his hopes on an ENFORCER team that’s hurting and an LAPD CENTURION team, that couldn’t care less.  This May 8th @ 5:00 pm @ Cathedral Catholic High School, Clear the land of women and children; It’s time for some JAIL HOUSE ROCK!  It’s a battle of FIERCE DIVISIONAL FOES, and OLD TIME RIVALS.  LOS ANGELES VS SAN DIEGO;  CENTURIONS VS ENFORCERS.
